“As the morning sun rises behind me, the wide flowing paths direct my slow stroll down and around the sloped terrain. I always stop to take in the fresh air and nature which surrounds me. I can see the pavilion below- where I am headed. My two grandchildren run in front, weaving through and crawling under the porous sculptural form. Beams of sunlight pass through the warm timber modules, casting patterned shadows on the cold concrete and well-manicured earth as I finish laying out my homemade goods and sit down. I hear the ambient chatter grow sharper as old and new faces appear over the hill; I smile and wave.”
